A Robotic Health-Care Assistant for COVID-19 Emergency: A Proposed Solution for Logistics and Disinfection in a Hospital Environment

The COVID-19 pandemic and the related emergency have contributed to push for innovative solutions applied health care. In particular, robotics has shown huge potential contributing relief efforts improving people's quality of life in several scenarios. this article, a robotic system, characterized by interaction capabilities autonomous navigation, is developed be used health-care treatment center logistics disinfection purposes. article describes two-month use platform University Hospital Campus Bio-Medico (UCBM) Rome, Italy, presents experimental results robot's navigation unstructured environments collaborative activities with operators clinical setting.
